In Loving Memory

Today is the one year anniversary of the passing of my family dog Ginger. Ginger entered my life when I was in the fourth grade, our first pet, and had a long and crazy life! She put up with me and my sister dressing her up in our dolls' clothes, pushing her around in a stroller, and yes painting her nails(claws?) She wasn't always a very good dog, she liked to chew and bark at EVERYTHING, but she was smart and loved to cuddle! One of my favorite memories of Ginger is her sneaking into one of our beds whenever my dad got into the shower, because she wasn't allowed on the furniture, and as soon as she heard the shower turn off she would jump out so she wouldn't get caught:) She loved to sleep in the sun in the garden, which was where she was born, and she shared a birthday with my Grandma, who didn't like dogs except for Ginger. No matter who came into the house, whether she knew them or not, she would bug them until they gave her a treat. There are too many memories to put into one post, but I just wanted to do a small tribute to Ginger, we loved her so much and we miss her everyday!I only have a few pictures of her on this computer, but you can see how adorable she was.

Oh, I remember Ginger! It brought back memories of "playing" at your house. I guess we considered it "hanging out" but looking back we were young so I'm calling it playing ;)

Yep that is exactly where I got it. It is a great store! They have such cute stuff. How are you? I haven't talked to you or seen you in years. You and Nick look way happy. I didn't know that you married him. And I'm sorry about your dog, I know it's been awhile since you blogged about that. If I remember right Isn't that the same dog you had when you lived over by my parents? Well it was good to hear from you. Will have to stay in touch.
